Hello Christopher, It all depends on your tank. The LP fuel consumption is 2.1 GAL/HR – 194,000 BTU/HR.

What is the recommended BTU size regulator? This generator will be mounted on a trailer as a portable standby package using two 20 lb propane tanks on an auto changeover configuration. The regulator will be approximately 8 – 10 feet from the generator. 1” black steel pipe is being run from the regulator to the genset.
